For FST/YLE Television in Finland, Kazimir Kolesnik recently
completed his 13-part comic horror series entitled Hubert Harrington.
With Mason Ball in the title role, the series was praised for its originality,
zany humour and inventiveness.
In the realm of short films, Kazimir Kolesnik's Toys Of Treblinka,
with Adam Darius, was shown at the Uruguay International Film Festival
in Montevideo and the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival in Turkey. Kazimir
Kolesnik's next film, The Sin, was seen at the Alternative Film
Festival in Romania, the Zoie Einternet Film Festival in Georgia, USA,
and the Uruguay International Film Festival in Montevideo. With a cast
of Finnish actors, it has, as its powerful theme, a priest torn between
his commitment to God and his furtive sexuality.
Kazimir Kolesnik's latest short films are now being edited. The Last
Audition tells the story of a drug-addicted young actor who, in a darkened
auditorium, auditions for a producer.The actor, overjoyed when given the
role, has, unknowingly, passed the point of no return.
Black Void relates the story of a woman's accusation of sexual harrassment
in the workplace. To protect herself from violent attack, the woman studies
a self-defence technique. Is this woman's accusation spiked with fantasy
or, conversely, legitimate? This was shown at the Antalya Golden Orange
Film Festival in Turkey.
